The last three episodes have a few more aliens mixed in, even though many of the scenes focus on locations with mostly human characters, such as the prison and the ISB. This will be a rather short update, but let’s check it out anyway.

Episode 10: One Way Out

We don’t get any aliens until we reach the underlevels of Coruscant, almost near the end of the episode, when Lonni Jung goes to meet with Luthen. While he walks through the crowded streets deep below the surface, we see a two new faces. First is a character with horns, pointy ears and big black eyes (Andor Species #10). We quickly pan past someone with a deep red face and someone wearing a helmet with a fishbowl visor, but it’s so quick I can’t really make out what they are meant to look like beyond that. The second new alien looks like it came straight out of someone’s nightmare next, with pointy appendages on the bottom of their face, and no discernable eyes (Andor Species #11). There’s also another member of Solo Species #2, but we saw this one in a previous episode already.

Episode 11: Daughter of Ferrix

After escaping from the prison, Andor and Melshi run into Dewi Pamular, a Keredian (first seen in Rogue One) and Freedi Pamular, a new species (Andor Species #12). He reminds me or one of the gladiators in the old Clone Wars cartoon by Tartakovsky, and also the heavily modified Nelvaanians in the same show. Wonder what happened to him, a retractable sword instead of a hand seems hardly convenient. Update: He speaks a language that is called Narkinian, and one reader below suggested using that as a tentative species name, which sounds like a good idea.

Back on Niamos there’s some blue sea birds. Andor sneaks into the apartment he occupied before being arrested, which is now inhabited by a Blutopian and another alien being that I can’t really make out, save for the large pointy ears, perhaps it’s not new. Luthen visits Saw again, and we see some of his regulars, like one of the Tognath brothers and Moroff the Gigoran.

Episode 12: Rix Road

Back on Ferrix, we see some beings—some we saw in previous episodes already—in the streets in the various scenes. One small being with goggles may be a Zenezian from The Force Awakens. There’s a Kubaz we see a few times walking and standing behind Wilmon, as well as Scrapjaw Motito’s species (TFA species #4). Another one that stood out was a red-skinned man with tentacles on his head, which is actively participating in the fight. Might be a new species, but could be something like a Mikkian? We really need some more Visual Guides or something…

That’s it. Can’t wait for the second season. Here’s a little overview of all new species I was able to make out in the background. Actually, when making a screenshot for #7, I found that the orange being next to is also a species I haven’t seen before, so there’s Andor Species #13 too. Sorry for the less-then-perfect images, but it’s a lot of background stuff. Let me know if I missed anything!
